Welcome to Aquarena Aquatic and Leisure Centre
Aquarena Aquatic and Leisure Centre is your state of the art recreational venue offering a range of year-round aquatic, leisure and wellness programs for people of all ages and abilities.
Located in Templestowe Lower, we are situated on over 11 acres of landscaped gardens. Our facilities offer you an indoor and outdoor eatery overlooking our pool area, an indoor 25m heated swimming pool, an outdoor 50m heated swimming pool, a warm water pool, spa and steam room.
Facilities also include a learners and toddlers pool, outdoor play area, waterslide and dive boards for the whole family to enjoy. We also offer a range of services and programs for every member of our community, including our health club, group fitness classes, childcare services and more!

Current Opening Hours (from 29/03/21)
Monday to Friday 5:30am to 10:00pm
Saturday 7:00am to 6:00pm
Sunday 8:00am to 6:00pm
Pools close 15 minutes prior to centre close.
Booking are no longer required for gym and pool access, please continue to use our booking site for all group fitness and squad sessions.

Australia's Biggest Morning Tea at Aquarena
Aquarena Aquatic and Leisure Centre is proud to be participating in the Cancer Council’s Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea. Join us for our Biggest Morning Tea event on Tuesday 25th May at The Deck cafe at Aquarena from 9am-12pm, to help raise funds for those impacted by cancer.

Importance of Swimming Year Round
During winter, kids can get restless not being able to run around and stay active outside due to the cold weather. Swimming is a great way to remain active while being in an indoor environment, it’s a sure way to keep those energy levels maintained without having to worry about being in the cold and wet weather. It is also important for children to consistently work on their swimming skills to ensure water confidence and sufficient swimming abilities in case of emergency.
